Should American Support Trump on his Immigration Policies ?

Immigration is one of the most heated and controversial topics that has been debated over decades in America. It is known that America is a country that is built by immigrants. That is the "dream" land of immigrants from all over the globe. Yet, Trump's "American First" program starts to put an end mark on this land. The administration's new rules creates a huge impact on the U.S immigration policy, especially in refugee and asylum type visa category, as well as H-1B, and migrants at the U.S - Mexico border. Thus, President Trump's actions are opposed with American traditional democracy - a welcoming land for immigrants and refugees. Therefore, we should not support on his immigration policies.
First of all, how Trump handled immigration policies might lead the country to the downside, make it face with more financial and economical obstacles. Limiting the number of legal immigrants from other foreign countries does not make America great again. Yet, it can impact on the contribution to the country in many different ways. It will lessen the amount of people and job opportunities around the states. Furthermore, it can decrease the diversity among the race and culture. Thus, Trump's immigration policies can turn out hurting the country's contribution rather than making it better.
Secondly, Trump's administration also threatened to suspend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) which let undocumented immigrants who stay here and work as children. That is resulted in dramatic deportation of immigrants without any acknowledge of their family, relatives, and friends which force those children have nowhere to stay. Most importantly, this action also leads to the separation of children from their parents at the U.S border whom are held there in a "atrocious" condition “children are held for weeks in deplorable conditions, without access to soap, clean water, showers, clean clothing, toilets, toothbrushes, adequate nutrition or adequate sleep”. In results, children have to suffer and die in a horrible, intolerable living condition that is against justice and humanity.
Clearly, Trump's immigration policies do not seem to help the country grow better. In fact, it creates more issues within the local scale. Cutting down the number of immigrants does not lead the U.S to the greatness, yet it it creates a much more xenophobic and less welcoming country. Therefore, people should not support on Trump's immigration policies.
